Tom graduated with a MA in Theatre: Writing, Directing and Performance from the University of York in 2013. He is an experienced director of Shakespeare and medieval drama as well as a script reader for Champion Scripts. He was an Assistant Director for the 2016 York Minster Mystery Plays, directed by Phillip Breen (RSC). Currently he is Artistic Director for the 2018 York Mystery Plays.
Sandrine Enryd Carlsson Production Manager
Sandrine graduated with a BSc in Film and Television production from the University of York in July 2016. She moved to York from Sweden in 2013, and has since been involved with several local theatre companies. Previous productions include Henry V (York Shakespeare Project), The Mai (YSCP) and Hyde Park (University of York).
Mark studied acting and classical music in Germany at the St Gregorius Conservatoire, Aachen and at the University of York in the UK, where he gained the highly competitive Roslyn Lyons Scholarship.
He discovered his passion for classical drama and Early Music at a young age and enjoys nurturing both fields of interest regularly.
Recent stage credits include the title roles in Richard II (Bronzehead Theatre) and Macbeth (Tristan Bates Theatre) as well as playing Edgar in King Lear (Theatre of the Dales). Other work includes Much Ado about Nothing (White Horse Theatre) and the York Mystery Plays. Recent television credits include the WW1 drama The Passing Bells (BBC One).
